Charlie's Angels (2019)
Charlie's Angels is an upcoming American action comedy film from a story by Evan Spiliotopoulos and David Auburn directed by Elizabeth Banks, who also wrote the screenplay. It is the third installment in the Charlie's Angels movie series, a continuation of the story that started with the same-title television series by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts and Charlie's Angels (2000) and Charlie's Angels theatrical films: Full Throttle (2003). The movie stars as the titular characters Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska. Also starring in supporting roles are Elizabeth Banks, Djimon Hounsou, Sam Claflin, Noah Centineo, and Patrick Stewart.

Premise
Charlie's Angels has always supported private clients with security and investigative skills. Today, with the brightest and most highly trained women from all over the globe, the Townsend Agency has expanded internationally: multiple Angels teams led by multiple Bosleys, performing the hardest missions around the world. When a young machine engineer blows the whistle on a dangerous technology, they are called into action to put their lives on the line to protect us all.

Jonathan Tucker was also cast as the villain of the film. In undisclosed roles, Chris Pang and Nat Faxon were cast.
Production
On September 15, 2015, it was announced that the Charlie's Angels franchise was rebooted by Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Elizabeth Banks was in talks to direct the film. Banks would also be producing the film along with Max Handelman, partner of her Brownstone Productions. Sony hired Evan Spiliotopoulos on December 16, 2015, to write the script for the reboot film.
In July 2018, it was revealed that the battle team's leading trio would be played by Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska, and Banks would also star as Bosley, with the movie featuring multiple characters named Bosley. Doug Belgrad, along with Elizabeth Cantillon, Banks and Handelman, would also produce the movie through his 2.0 Productions, while Banks and Jay Basu wrote the screenplay with the early drafts of Craig Mazin and Semi Chellas. Patrick Stewart has been cast as the second Bosley in September. That same month, with Djimon Hounsou casting as the third Bosley, Luis Gerardo Méndez and Jonathan Tucker joined the film's cast. Sam Claflin, Noah Centineo, Chris Pang and Nat Faxon joined the movie's cast in October 2018.
The film's main photography started on September 24, 2018. Filming took place at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Germany, between 2 and 7 October 2018. Filming took place in early December 2018 at the Spice Bazaar, Veliefendi Race Course, and in Istanbul, Turkey, in Sultanahmet. The shooting was ended on December 9, 2018.
It was later revealed that the new film would not be a franchise revival or sequel, but rather a continuation combining the events of the original TV series and the movies of the McG-directed 2000s. It was also announced on the official website of the movie that Drew Barrymore, who produced from previous films and played as Dylan Sanders, will come back as an executive producer. Leonard Goldberg also returned, who produced the original series and the earlier movies.
Music
Main article: Charlie's Angels: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack The score for the film was revealed to be composed by Brian Tyler on May 6, 2019. Singers Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey worked together on a song called "Don't Call Me Angel," released on September 13, 2019 as the lead single from the soundtrack. Grande also produced the soundtrack together with Savan Kotecha and Scooter Braun, which was set for a November 1 release. Kash Doll, Kim Petras, Alma and Stefflon Don's second single "How It's Done" released on October 11, 2019.
Release
Charlie's Angels will be released by Sony Pictures Releasing on November 15, 2019. It was to be released on November 1, 2019 before, but was moved to avoid going against Terminator: Dark Fate.
Marketing
On June 27, 2019, the film's first theatrical trailer was released. On October 11, 2019, a second and final trailer was released.
