Housefull 4 is a potential Indian reincarnation comedy film directed by Farhad Samji and produced under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie is Housefull franchise's fourth installment. This stars Akshay Kumar's ensemble cast, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, and Kriti Kharbanda.

Sajid Khan, who also directed the first two installments, but was replaced by Farhad Samji because of Me Too's allegations, was expected to direct the film. Nadiadwala said the film was the Indian comedy's highest budgeted film. The film's story is based on reincarnation, extending from 1419 to 2019 for a period of 600 years. It is scheduled to be released in October 2019.

Premise
Due to an evil conspiracy, 3 couples are divided in 1419 Sitamgarh. In 2019 in London, 600 hundred years later, the reincarnations of the couples meet again, but this time each of them marries the wrong person. History repeats itself, and in Sitamgarh they all land up again. As they come to realize what is the crux of the tale about their true love.

Controversies
In October 2018, in the aftermath of the ongoing "Me Too" campaign in India, Khan was accused of sexual assault and abuse by actors Saloni Chopra, Rachel White and journalist Kma Upadhyay. Amid the allegations, Khan tweeted that he would step down as a director, while lead actor Akshay Kumar tweeted that he would cancel the movie shooting and that he would not work with the accused until the investigation had been completed. Nana Patekar also quit the company later in the aftermath of Tanushree Dutta's allegations of sexual harassment. Earlier, however, investigative agencies gave him a clean chit and now it is to be looked at whether he will be called back for the film because he was dropped from the movie just because he was accused.
The co-director of Housefull 3, Farhad Samji, has succeeded Sajid Khan as the director.
